I get the error 1618 and nothing uninstalls. I tried uninstalling all of the NI software through control panel. I get a message indicating that something is already in the process of installing and I should wait until it is done. I tried uninstalling my executables through the control panel. My LV2012 environment seems to work fine except that when I try to close it, it won't close. They simply crash and give me an option to send a report or not. But since that time, my executables built in LV2012 won't load.
Now, I can't say for sure that this is what caused my problem as I did not try running any of my newer applications or LV2012 immediately after this. The application seemed to work and when I was done with it, I uninstalled it. I recently installed a very old executable application that was built in LabVIEW6. I have several version of LabVIEW installed (8.5 through 2012) as well as NI-VISA, NIDAQmx and 488.2.
